Enjoying the Spring in North Wales
One of the best times of the year to visit North Wales is during the Spring – the countryside comes to life and the days become longer, giving you plenty of opportunity to explore this beautiful region before it gets very busy during the summer months.
There are lots of great places to stay in the area too, from homely bed and breakfasts, to places like this luxury hotel Llandudno https://stgeorgeswales.co.uk/ so there is something to suit everyone. It is also a popular area for camping if you really want to get close to nature!
Snowdonia National Park is a favourite with locals and visitors alike – from walks to up mountains with breathtaking views to beautiful waterfalls amongst the landscape, it is a truly enchanting place to be especially in the springtime. Because it is not yet too warm, this also makes it an ideal time for climbing and hiking.
As well as the Snowdonia inland, there is also a beautiful coastline to explore in North Wales. Llandudno is a favourite beach destination if you are looking for a traditional seaside town and it is a great way to enjoy the fresh sea air. You can also head over to the Isle of Anglesey to enjoy more remote beaches and amazing natural beauty.
Bodnant Garden is a great place to visit during the spring – with all the beautiful blossoms just coming into bloom as well as the daffodils of course – the national flower of Wales – it is a great place for a peaceful stroll.
